SoftFleet ToolWeb ver 2.0 Our Web application
How to install and minimum requirements?
ToolWeb is a tool that contains an ASP.NET web application and Android 5.0 mobile native application, developed in Microsoft Visual Studio 2015, it is required to have at least IIS 7.0 with the 4.0 framework and published on the web on a minimum Windows Server 2008 server , it can also be installed on a virtual server in the cloud such as Windows Azure, where the installation procedure will depend on the provider. Another important issue is the database, it is necessary to consider that this tool connects to the SoftFlot database and it must be visible, if the database is installed in the same place it would be optimal, but if due to the configuration of your network It is located on another server you have to create the user to access it.
IMPORTANT NOTE In order for this tool to be installed and recognized in our SoftFleet system it is necessary to have it installed in a SQL Server 2008 R2 database onwards (You can work with the Microsoft express version).
In 2016, our company launched version 1.0 of the ToolWeb and due to the great acceptance of this tool in 2017, version 2.0 was released, which not only brings substantial improvements against its previous version but was also included in the purchase of any version of SoftFleet 4.0 except Pyme and Nano versions.
How does it work?
Currently, all companies are interested in the centralization of information and that it is available in real time to make quick decisions. This has led the software industry to create SASS applications in the cloud that is a technology of recent years and is very efficient in some aspects, but the most important is security is not very reliable. In our company we try to use the best of the cloud and improve security by giving control of your database to the client through a hybrid system that continues to use a Windows application and a web and mobile application using a common Microsoft database SQL Server The benefits are enormous because each technology has its bottlenecks and we use the best of each case resulting in a hybrid technology system.
In Summary Our web application is a set of web services dedicated to giving mobility to the different operating processes through a web portal installed in your own company and native Android 5.0 mobile applications all managed by our main system SoftFleet ver 4.0.
